Dearest TBS Family,
I love to write – poetry, prayers, blogs, etc. Sometimes, however, I hit a bit of a writer’s block. The last time this happened was right in the middle of the Covid 19 Pandemic. I did write some of my best work during that time…but then a level of exhaustion hit, and my motivation began to fade. Sure, I was still able to do all of the things I needed to do as a rabbi, but I was not able to write very much.
Whenever it seems the “world turned upside down,” it is natural for us to feel many different emotions. We may find ourselves sad, angry, exhausted. It is during those times we should find something to do that reminds us what is good in the world…something that we enjoy doing either with others or by ourselves. This is difficult, for sure, but it is very possible!
