Mitzvah

The word mitzvah denotes giving of oneself for the benefit of others; to provide a helping hand; to practice charity; and to comfort those in the community less fortunate.  Temple Beth Shalom supports many programs throughout the Ocala area including Interfaith Emergency Services, the Backpack-For-Kids program, the Women’s shelter and Assisted Living Visitation Programs.  The temple community works tirelessly to support programs that enhance all aspects of life for the citizens of the Greater Ocala area.
