Dearest TBS Family,
As we enter the warm, vibrant months of June and July, the rhythm of our community naturally shifts. Summer brings a welcome change of pace—families packing for camps, luggage being readied for travel, and long-awaited vacations finally appearing on the horizon. These moments of rest and exploration are vital opportunities for rejuvenation. For some of our community, however, the summer does not include travel – it does bring with it a slower pace, nonetheless.
Yet, even as we scatter for our summer journeys, our spiritual center remains fixed. A Jewish summer is never purely a vacation from our values. Whether our children are singing around campfires or we are walking through unfamiliar cities, we carry our community and our commitments with us.
